New Beginnings Learning Academy

Our partnership with New Beginnings Learning Academy steadily expanded over 2025-2026 to include not only gardening activities, but also food preparation, nutrition, seed saving, seed starting, and seasonal indoor activities related to the year-round growing cycle.

Through our work with New Beginnings, we can get fresh, nutritious produce to kids and their families living in a food desert.

What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will help the kids in their garden, do fun garden-and nature-related activities, seed saving, and more!

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Just bring your enthusiasm and a smile!

What should volunteers know about the location?
Park in the lot and walk around the building to the back entrance.
