New Beginnings Learning Academy

Fresh food tastes even better when you’ve helped it grow! Through our work with New Beginnings, we’re helping kids and their families access fresh, nutritious produce in a neighborhood where fresh food can be hard to find.

What will volunteers do?
Help the kids tend their garden, dig into fun garden and nature activities, and discover what’s growing. There’s plenty to explore together!

What should volunteers bring or wear?
Bring your enthusiasm and a smile. A good vegetable pun is welcome, but not required.

What should volunteers know about the location?
Park in the front lot, then walk around the building to the back entrance. The back door stays locked, so give it a knock, and someone will let you in!
