DESCRIPTION:Our partnership with New Beginnings Learning Academy steadily expanded over 2025-2026 to include not only gardening activities\, but also food preparation\, nutrition\, seed saving\, seed starting\, and seasonal indoor activities related to the year-round growing cycle. \nThrough our work with New Beginnings\, we can get fresh\, nutritious produce to kids and their families living in a food desert. \nWhat will volunteers do?\nVolunteers will help the kids in their garden\, do fun garden-and nature-related activities\, seed saving\, and more! \nWhat will volunteers need to bring or wear?\nJust bring your enthusiasm and a smile! \nWhat should volunteers know about the location?\nPark in the lot and walk around the building to the back entrance.
